I saw a social media post from the Winnebago County Forest Preserve page back in 2022 which listed all the forest preserves in our county. I decided 2024 was a good year to visit every one on the list. I struggled to find a current listing of forest preserves online, so I am using the 2022 post as my master list. So please be aware this might not be completely up to date. If I find more information, I will revise the list accordingly. 

And to be clear, for this challenge I am not counting forest preserves I've visited in previous years. My plan is to write blog posts throughout the year with notes about my experiences at the preserves.
